2025 Visit Reardan Merit Scholarship

**Overview**


Reardan-Edwall School District and Reardan High School take immense pride in fostering academic excellence and supporting the aspirations of its graduating seniors. In line with the school district's commitment, Visit Reardan is delighted to announce the availability of the Visit Reardan Merit Scholarship. This scholarship aims to recognize outstanding achievements and provide financial assistance to deserving students as they embark on their journey beyond high school.

**Eligibility Criteria:**


- Applicant must be a graduating senior of Reardan High School.
- Must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale).
- Demonstrate active involvement in extracurricular activities, community service, and/or leadership roles.
- Provide evidence of acceptance to an accredited post-secondary institution (college, university, trade school, etc.).
- Submit a well-crafted essay on a specified topic (details provided below).

**Scholarship Details**

 

Amount: $500
Number of Awards: One (1) Annually
Application Deadline: April 30, 2025


Selection Process: Representatives of Visit Reardan will review all applications and select the most deserving candidate based on academic achievement, extracurricular involvement, community service, leadership qualities, and the content of the essay.

**How to Apply**


Interested applicants must submit the following documents to Visit Reardan by the specified deadline:
1. Completed scholarship application form (available from the school guidance office or downloadable from the school website).
2. Official transcript demonstrating GPA.
3. Proof of acceptance to a post-secondary institution.
4. A well-written essay (500-800 words) on the following topic: (See Below).
5. Any additional supporting documents (optional, but encouraged).
